Virginia and Craig offer a wide variety of training workshops that focus on effective communication skills and team building in a fun, musical participatory experience. Playtivity drum circles are an excellent ice-breaker or stress-buster for corporate conferences and staff training. As a result of the Playtivity presentations, staff found new and inspiring ways to teach children to listen and cooperate with their teachers. Additionally, they were involved in creating musical solutions to real-time problems. The workshops gave folks the opportunity to interact with their colleagues; as one staff put it "I truly believe you learn more when you are having fun"!

Corporate Staff Training
Some of Playtivity's most successful programs have been in corporate training sessions. Our rhythm circles are a fun and easy way to practice effective nonverbal communication, listening and leadership skills. We give everyone (from janitor to president) an opportunity to express themselves and shine. Playtivity programs are great ice-breakers to open a conference and our breakout sessions for stress-busting are a great way to relax and connect after a long day of meetings.
Camp Staff Training
After years of performing in camps all over New England, we understand how camps tick. With young councilors from around the world, we offer a variety of staff training applications that give everyone a chance to introduce themselves in a fun, musical way. We apply many character building assets to all of our camp training programs, using the drum circle as a metaphor for team building and leadership skills in a fun, participatory experience. We also know that some camps may be interested in starting their own drumming program and we'll gladly train staff to facilitate their own drum circles. We'll even supply the drums!
Teacher In Service Training
Using the drum circle as a catalyst for team building, Playtivity will give teachers and administrators a chance to communicate and bond in a non-judgmental, non-verbal way. Our team building sessions are fun and engaging, giving everyone a chance to express themselves creatively while creating group cohesiveness. Your conference theme can be integrated into our program.
